After a heavy research, the answer is No. XOLO is not an Intel product. Neither it is not manufactured by Intel nor marketed by Intel. I always have disambiguation about XOLO brand about the ownership. People say that it is made by Intel and some say that Intel Corporation has entered India by making XOLO phones.

The real fact is that, Lava International has collaborated with Intel Corporation to use Intel processors in Lava phones and named them as XOLO. And reportedly Lava is first phone-maker to introduce Intel processors to India.

After-sales service of XOLO phones is handled by Lava. If a smartphone with Intel processor should be considered as an Intel product, then Acer Liquid C1, ASUS FonePad, Lenovo K900 should also be considered as Intel products which are in reality, a no.

Let us see some references from this page, which I have got from Intel’s website.

“Intel Corporation and Lava International Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing mobile handset companies, today announced the general availability of the XOLO X900, the first smartphone with Intel inside.”
The line above from the page implies that XOLO is a smartphone from Lava.

“The XOLO X900 from Lava is based on Intel's smartphone reference design featuring the Intel Atom processor Z2460 with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and supporting HSPA+ with the Intel XMM 6260 Platform.”
The above line from this page makes clear that the XOLO phones are “from” Lava.

“In order to bring a high- performance and differentiated smartphones to the market, Lava has collaborated with Intel to introduce its first Intel-based smartphone under the brand XOLO.”
This above line shatters all disambiguation making clear that XOLO is a brand from Lava in which devices are powered with Intel processors.

“Intel, Atom and the Intel logo are trademarks of Intel Corporation in the United States and other countries. Lava, Xolo and Lava Xolo are trademarks of Lava International Ltd.”
This above line from the page mirrors the fact that Xolo is owned by Lava International.

Conclusion:
Thus XOLO phones are a series of smartphones from Lava which first came with Intel processors. After all, we need to know what we buy and what we have bought, right?
